ABOUT THE USS TERMINUS

Atlanta's Star Trek Fan Club and Official Starfleet Command Chapter

"Let's Go Get In Some Good Trouble"

our mission

The U.S.S. Terminus, NCC-42063-A, is an Atlanta-based chapter of Starfleet Command, Quadrant One, united by a shared love of Star Trek and the ideals it champions.

We are a crew of makers, dreamers, and explorers, dedicated to celebrating the enduring spirit of Trek across its television series and films, embracing the philosophy of Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations, and serving as a creative and recreational home for fans of science fiction and space exploration. We support the peaceful exploration of outer space, show up for our communities, and get into what John Lewis called "good trouble, necessary trouble."

Most of all, we boldly go together, and we have a fantastic time doing it.

frequently asked questions

Is there a Star Trek club in Atlanta?

Yes! The U.S.S. Terminus is Atlanta's own Star Trek fan club and an official chapter of Starfleet Command, Quadrant One. We serve fans across metro Atlanta and north Georgia with meetups, conventions, and community events.

What is the U.S.S. Terminus?

The U.S.S. Terminus, (NCC 42063-A) is a crew of makers, dreamers, and explorers united by a love of Star Trek and the ideals it champions. Starfleet Command, one of the oldest and largest Star Trek fan organizations in the world, organizes its members by region, and each regional chapter takes on the identity of a "ship," the same way the 501st Legion organizes its members into garrisons and outposts. The Terminus is Starfleet Command's ship representing the Atlanta area.

How do I join the U.S.S. Terminus?

Enlisting is easy. Head over to our Enlist page and apply directly through Starfleet Command. Once you're in, you're part of the Terminus crew, no experience necessary, no red tape.

Is there a membership fee?

Yes, annual dues to join Starfleet Command are $12. That covers your national membership; the Terminus doesn't charge anything on top of it.

Do I need to know a lot about Star Trek to join?

Not even a little. We're open to anyone interested in Star Trek, science fiction, or space exploration, whether you've watched every series twice or you're just Trek-curious. The only real requirement is a willingness to boldly go.

Do I need a costume or uniform?

Not at all, we're pretty loose about it. If you do want to dress the part, the Terminus has standardized on the Voyager-era delta insignia, but casual clothes are just as welcome. We'll never make you feel underdressed (or overdressed) for boldly going.

Is the U.S.S. Terminus affiliated with Paramount or CBS?

No. The U.S.S. Terminus and Starfleet Command are independent, fan-run organizations, not officially affiliated with or endorsed by Paramount or CBS Studios.

What kinds of events does the club host?

Everything from away missions and movie nights to trivia, parades, and conventions like Dragon Con and StellarFest. We also show up for our community through charity drives and volunteer work.

What is an "away mission"?

An away mission is any Terminus outing beyond a regular meetup, think brewery hangouts, museum trips, festivals, or gaming nights. Check our Away Missions page for the ongoing log, or visit our Calendar, synced straight from the crew's Google Calendar, to see what's coming up next and add it to your own.
